New Life for Old Churches

On Saturday, January 11 St. John’s was privileged to host a Workshop entitled “New Life for Old Churches” led by Rev. Jim Barnes, National Minister for the Evangelical Association of Reformed and Congregational Christian Churches (EA).  The Workshop was well attended by 52 individuals representing 5 Congregations from Marietta to Dover, OH and 3 from the Wheeling area.

Rev. Barnes gave us a lot of information to consider and digest as we  looked at the life and ministries of our churches. On Sunday Rev. Barnes joined us for Worship and presented the Word of the Lord with a great message on leading people to God.  He then met with the congregation and presented information about the EA.
We thank Rev. Barnes for being with us on Saturday and Sunday and for his service to the Lord.
